Measurement and advertising
This website loads Google Analytics 4 (measurement identifier G-JTY31CQECL) and the Google Ads tag (AW-17634644213). These services set cookies and process technical data such as your IP address, your browser and the pages you view, in order to measure audience and to attribute conversions to advertising campaigns. You can prevent this processing by using your browser settings or a tracking blocker.
Why we process this information
- To assess your file and tell you what we can do for your lease
- To carry out the mandate you entrust to us, including presenting candidates to your landlord or managing agent
- To communicate with you and with the other parties to the procedure
- To establish eligibility for the thank-you bonus, where it applies
- To measure how the website performs and how our advertising performs
- To comply with our legal and accounting obligations
The legal bases are the performance of the contract or of pre-contractual steps taken at your request, our legitimate interest in running and improving our service, and, for measurement and advertising, your consent where it is required.
Who has access to it
Your data is accessible to the team of Home Location SA. It is shared with third parties only where it is necessary for the procedure you have asked us to carry out, in particular with the landlord or the managing agent of your building, and with the property portals on which the listing is published. We never sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising purposes on behalf of third parties.
Technical providers process data on our behalf: our hosting provider, our email provider, and Google for measurement and advertising. Some of these providers are established outside Switzerland, and transfers are made on the basis of the safeguards provided for by the applicable law.
How long we keep it
Files that lead to a mandate are kept for the duration of the mandate and then for the period required by our legal and accounting obligations. Requests that do not lead to a mandate are kept for a limited period so that we can answer you and follow up, and then deleted.
Security
This website is served over an encrypted connection. Form submissions are transmitted over an encrypted channel to the mailbox of Home Location SA. We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No system is perfect, and we do not claim otherwise.
Your rights
You have the right to ask us what data we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable form. You may withdraw your consent at any time, without this affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand. Write to contact@homelocation.ch.
If you consider that your rights have not been respected, you may contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner, or the supervisory authority of your country of residence.
Links to other websites
This website links to official sources and to other websites operated by Home Location SA. Once you follow a link to a website we do not operate, this policy no longer applies, and we are not responsible for the way that website handles your data.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top of this page always tells you which version is in force. See also our legal notices.
