Who is eligible?
The outgoing leaseholder (natural person) for a property located in the Canton of Geneva
Dossier submitted via leasetakeover.ch and managed by Home Location SA
Eligibility Conditions
The bonus is awarded if all of the following conditions are met:
Exclusivity granted to Home Location for at least two weeks
Complete dossier submitted (form, standard documents, possible high-quality photos)
Written acceptance of the successor by the property management/landlord
Signature of the new tenant and effective move-in (key handover)
No other agency mandated in parallel and no competing listings during the exclusivity period
Accurate and truthful information provided to Home Location
Bonus Amount
Between CHF 100 and CHF 500
Note :
One bonus per lease (non-cumulative, non-transferable)
Home Location may adjust the scale for special cases (e.g., studio, furnished lease, very short timing), with written confirmation
Payment Terms
Bank transfer (Swiss IBAN) to the outgoing leaseholder, or equivalent gift voucher if desired
Payment within 10 business days after the new tenant takes possession
Possible requested documents: copy of acceptance decision by property management, move-in/inventory report, banking details
Exclusion or Cancellation Cases
The bonus is not granted if:
The successor is refused by property management/landlord, the dossier is withdrawn by the outgoing tenant, or move-in does not occur
The property is sublet, under commercial lease, or subject to a dispute
False information was provided, or another intermediary was mandated during exclusivity
Rent arrears or damages make the takeover impossible
Transparency, Data & Compliance
The bonus is a commercial thank-you gesture, with no guarantee of takeover and subject to acceptance by property management/landlord
Data processing complies with Swiss LPD and GDPR (purpose: dossier evaluation, communication with parties, proof of eligibility for bonus)
FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions
1. Is the bonus compatible with your free service ?
Yes. Our support remains free. The bonus is an additional thank-you if the takeover is successful.
3. Can I publish my own listing at the same time ?
No, not during the exclusivity period. That would void eligibility for the bonus and reduce the efficiency of the process.
2. When is it paid ?
Within 10 business days following the new tenant's move-in (after receiving proof documents).
4. What if the property management rejects the application ?
The bonus is not due. We help you quickly present another candidate.
5. Can the amount be different ?
Yes, marginally, with written agreement (special cases). The above scale remains the reference.
